Sabah Birdwatchers Association Mission Statement.

Mission Statement Borneo has 688 species of bird recorded and 60 species endemic to Borneo Island. Sabah North Borneo state has 6 species of Birds only found here. We have over 30 experienced Bird Guides and over 200 birders & photographers enthusias. Viability of Birding hotspots every 2 hours drive from each location. Sabah Bird Watchers Association (SBWA) was born due to the rise of the need to regulate birding ethics & management in terms of better education in Ornithological aspects. We are also looking into providing future birders on the better platform to pursue their interest, especially the junior/school Levels exposure.
